You also have to set the following settings too, like this.

Modem settings:
	Init sting = AT&FB8E1V1X2\r
	Exit string =
	Dial prefix = ATDT
	Dial suffix = \r

Dialer settings:
	Enter your Netsurf Login ID and your password.
