This is a new remix of my ÒFoundationsÓ, joining 1 and 2 into one track, and
dropping 3 altogether. It also has been reworked as you will no doubt discover
upon playing it. I added a small theme call
ed ÒPeaceÓ around nine minutes in. As well, the original multitrack tracks of
Foundation1 were successfully isolated from each other, processed through modern
software, then remixed digitally using A
udacity (audacity.sourceforge.net), an open source app that really should be on
AmigaOS4 (hint, hint :-) ). Unfortunately I do not have the original unmixed
multitracks to Foundation2 as they were Òb
ouncedÓ to squeeze them into four tracks on the Vesta Fire MR-10B all those
years ago. You will note, however, that I did isolate the adagio and monkey with
that a bit. ;-) The original tracks were p
erformed on a Casiotone MT-68 and recorded and mixed on a Vesta Fire MR-10B
nearly 20 years ago (so please forgive the occasional pop or tick). Remix was on
a G4 Mac using Peak 4 LE (and VST Plug-ins
, including Sound Soap), and the mix-down was done in Audacity.

If all goes as I hope, this will be the first track of a planned four track CD
entitled ÒThemes of Hope After the StormÓ which awaits permission from
individuals whose efforts will (I hope) be used o
n this CD.
