This animation shows how the orientation of Saturn's rings will be
changing over the next 1.5 years.  1995 is a special year for Saturn
in that we will be able to see the rings from an edge-on orientation
three times.  Information on the events and their significance is
provided in the archive.

The animation was created by "The Digital Universe", a commercial astronomy
program currently undergoing beta testing.  It is hoped that it will be
ready for shipping in a few months.
