St. Mark's from the Piazza, Venice.

 The Basilica of St Mark is a curious confection of Byzantine, Romanesque and 
Gothic - it's certainly unique in terms of architecture. The famous quadriga
of the four galloping horses is unfortunately undergoing restoration, as is
the facade of the Campanile (on the right).
