Here is a screenshot of my actual Linux X setup. As you can see, 
the environment is  the  wonderful  AfterStep,  powered  by  the
latest 3.9.18 Permedia XFree86 driver. The machine  I'm  running
LinuxPPC is a 1200T with BlizzardPPC+ and BVision. In  the  shot
you can see:

-AfterStep environment, with Ostx style windows. I  really  love
 Afterstep, it's nice to see, fast and cool, unlike  all  normal
 window manager, imho too much Windows-ish.

-A quick GIMP session, with an opened image renedered in  a  few
 clicks using the Supernova effect, a couple of lens flares, and
 a nice dropshadow effect.
 
-The wonderful AbiWord program. This piece of software is great,
 if you miss Word you really should give a try at  this,  has  a
 great support for .doc files. (www.abisource.com)
 
-The demo of the game Myth2, running in a X window. As the  shot
 shows, the graphic is really incredible, and runs  in  high res
 (640x480 and more up to 1024x768) with software rendering.  The
 game features 16bit gfx, transparency effects,  a  great  intro
 and a excellent gameplay. If you have LinuxPPC, you should  try
 it! You can download the demo (60mb tar.gz archive) from one of
 the Loki games mirror (like ftp.linuxgames.com).
